About "Tlalocito"
"Imagination is Identity"

My name is Saul, "Tlalocito". I am a Digital and traditional multimedia artist. I was born and raised in Manhattan, New York to Mexican and Ecuadorian parents. I Studied Animation and Motion Graphics at CUNY Lehman College.

My career as an artist stems from the animated shows and movies I grew up watching. Drawing the characters I saw in comics and TV for fun peaked my curiosity in other mediums. Doing so made me realize how I could take my imagination and mold it into a creative outlet so, it became my voice.
My goal as an Artist is to captivate and bring people together through visual story telling; to prompt others to explore their imaginative side. My goal is to exemplify the power of holding onto one's childlike wonder and to never let it go. Creative liberation can save the world.

Aside from hand drawn and digital Animation, I like to paint and draw with Charcoal reoccurring themes in my work are Celestial Bodies; a "reference" to my love for astronomy and Deities and mythos creatures emanating from my fascination with mythology and Urban legend.
